Embraer, the world’s third-largest aircraft manufacturer, will participate in the first-ever Bali Airshow, displaying its innovative aircraft and solutions from September 18-21 at Ngurah Rai International Airport.
The Brazilian aerospace company will exhibit scale models of its latest aircraft, including the E2 family of small narrowbody jets and the C-390 Millennium multi-mission military airlift, at its booth in Hall B.
Embraer already has a presence in Indonesia, with the Indonesian Air Force operating a fleet of A-29 Super Tucanos and a number of Embraer business jets in operation throughout the country.
The E2 family, comprising the E190-E2 and E195-E2, can seat up to 114 and 146 passengers respectively. Embraer claims these are the quietest and most fuel-efficient single-aisle aircraft currently in production.
The C-390 Millennium, a medium-sized military transport aircraft, can carry up to 26 tons of payload and fly at speeds of 470 knots. It is capable of performing various missions including cargo and troop transport, medical evacuation, and firefighting.
Embraer reported that the current fleet of C-390s in operation with the Brazilian and Portuguese Air Forces has accumulated over 14,000 flight hours, with a mission capable rate of 93% and mission completion rates above 99%.
The company’s participation in the Bali Airshow comes as Scoot, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, prepares to launch flights between Singapore and Kertajati International Airport using Embraer E190-E2 aircraft from September 28, 2024.
This inaugural airshow provides Embraer with an opportunity to showcase its aircraft range to potential customers in the growing Southeast Asian aviation market.
