Air Charter Service raises record $200,000 for global charities in 2024

Air Charter Service (ACS) has reported its highest-ever annual total for charitable giving, with more than $200,000 raised in 2024 through staff-led fundraising, volunteering, and donation drives across its global offices.

Lloyd Robinson, the company’s director of corporate environmental and social responsibility (CESR), praised the collective effort from teams worldwide.

“The worldwide team has really outdone themselves this year, with a range of physical challenges, including 5 km races, half and full marathons, the UK Three Peaks challenge, climbing Kilimanjaro and a ‘virtual’ run covering the full distance from one side of the USA to the other (around 3,000 miles/4,700 kms),” Mr Robinson said.

“The raffles held at our Christmas parties raised a record amount ($42,000) and combined with various bake sales, and other fundraising initiatives, helped to raise a total of over $200,000.”

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one that put in the effort and their hands in their pockets to help to reach this fantastic total.”

Alongside financial contributions, ACS teams engaged in hands-on community support. In New York, staff volunteered at a Long Island soup kitchen, while in Australia, the team used empty leg charter flights to deliver clothing and toys to remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Air Charter Service is a global aircraft charter broker with 35 offices across six continents. The company arranges more than 30,000 flights annually and has maintained revenue above US$1 billion for the past four years.
