Boeing held a small ceremony at its Everett plant to mark the start of final assembly of the 1000th 767 on January 10.
The milestone aircraft is a 767-300ER for Japan’s All Nippon Airways, which is due for delivery in February. The 1000th aircraft is also the last to be assembled in the 767’s existing assembly line at Everett. Starting from line number 1001, a 767-300ER also for All Nippon, 767 final assembly will take place in a new, smaller bay at Boeing’s Everett plant.
