GECAS orders 12 more A330s

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has ordered 12 additional Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

The announcement brings the total number of A330s ordered by GECAS to 32, and forms a key part of the lessor’s strategy to “expand our widebody product offerings to satisfy customer demand,” according to GECAS president and CEO Norman C T  Liu.

The A330 family of aircraft has attracted more than 1110 orders, spanning multiple passenger variants, freighters, VIP jets, and military transport/tanker aircraft.
