Saudis start MRTT training
Pilots and crews from the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) have commenced training on their A330 Multi Role Tanker Transports (MRTT) at Getafe in Spain. Air Azul orders 11 Embraer E-195s
Brazilian airline Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (Air Azul) has ordered 11 Embraer E-195 for delivery from 2013. The order takes Air Azul’s E-Jet fleet to 52 aircraft, including 23 E-195s and 10 E-190s already in service. The E-195s will be delivered in a 118-set single class configuration.
Virgin details Emerald schedule
Virgin Australia has detailed its schedule for its new flights to the Queensland regional centre of Emerald, with twice daily weekday flights due to begin on January 16 2012. The Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust has ordered two AgustaWestland AW169 helicopters, the first sale of the type in Australasia.
