Boeing had added its in-development 777-X family of aircraft comprising the 777-8X and 777-9X as to its business jet BBJ lineup.

In a major production milestone, Boeing says it has completed the "final body join" of the first 777-X, connecting the nose, mid and aft sections together.

Boeing has unveiled the first 777X static test aircraft at its Everett facility just outside Seattle. Test flights were due to begin in early 2019.
