No cut in 737 production – Albaugh

written by WOFA | November 18, 2009

Boeing Commercial Airplanes CEO Jim Albaugh told Reuters on November 15 that he does not expect that the company will have to cut production on its 737 line, despite the downturn in air travel markets.

“We don’t anticipate that we are going to be down from the 31 (per month) we are at today,” he said, adding that overall the manufacturer would deliver 480 aircraft this year, with the same number expected in 2010.
