Q400s to Blackall and Barcaldine

QantasLink has announced it will deploy the Bombardier on its flights to Blackall and Barcaldine from early February 2011.

The airline is increasings its weekly services to both Queensland centres from two flights to three each week, with the new flights to be operated by the Q400, complementing the existing Q300s flights.

“I would like to thank both the Blackall-Tambo and Barcaldine Regional Councils for ensuring the recent airport upgrades were completed in time for the airline’s Q400 expansion plans,” said QantasLink executive manager Narendra Kumar. “Modern airport infrastructure is so important to the ongoing viability of regional air services.”
