Wings For Kids takes off

Several flying schools and aviation service providers have teamed with Wings For Kids (WFK) initiative organiser Matilda Air Services to provide children with special needs the opportunity to experience a joyflight in an aircraft or helicopter and a tour of airport facilities.

Air BP Moorabbin, Peter Bini’s Flight Training, Helicopter Group, Professional Helicopter Services, Royal Victorian Aero Club, Turbo Aero Maintenance and Oxford Aviation Academy will all take part in the in providing the ‘Wings For Kids Experience’ at Melbourne’s Moorabbin Airport, where children will get the chance to tour the airport grounds, visit a maintenance hangar, and enjoy a fixed wing aircraft or helicopter scenic flight.

A sausage sizzle will be held at Moorabbin Airport on September 24 to launch the new initiative.
