Shell Aviation has become a founding partner of the Australian Aviation Hall of Fame, and will be the naming sponsor for the inaugural induction in September.
“Shell Aviation’s commitment to the Aviation Hall of Fame reflects its commitment to the industry and its heritage and we are delighted to have them come on board as a Founding Partner and sponsor of our inaugural induction dinner,” said Hall of Fame chairman Geoff Breust.
The Australian Aviation Hall of Fame was established in 2010 by a group of aviation industry veterans and is designed to honour people and organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to aviation in Australia and Australians who have made an outstanding contribution internationally.
The first induction gala dinner will be held on September 15 at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
GE and Jeppesen are the other founding partners of the Hall of Fame, which will initially commence online but will have a physical presence at a facility in Wagga Wagga.
