ALAFCO firms up order for 20 737 MAXs

Kuwaiti aircraft leasing company ALAFCO has finalised an order for 20 737 MAX 8s.  The order – the first for the MAX variant from the Middle East – is valued at US$2 billion at list prices and follows an announcement at the Farnborough airshow earlier this year.

This order brings total orders for the 737 MAX family to 878 jets.
