Tiger Airways has celebrated its fifth anniversary of flying in Australia as the airline approaches another milestone – its 10 millionth passenger.

To mark the anniversary, Tiger is giving away tickets and has cut lead-in fares on its 11 domestic routes, including a promotional fare of $34.95 between Sydney and Melbourne on sale between now and midnight Sunday November 25.

Tiger’s commercial director Carly Brear said: “Last August, Tiger Airways Australia re-launched the airline with an absolute commitment to delivering safe, affordable, reliable air travel with friendly and professional service. We are soon to carry our 10 millionth passenger in Australia and are extremely excited about what the next five years holds for Tiger.”
