Hawaiian Airlines says its first 12 months of its three-times-weekly Honolulu-Brisbane services has “exceeded expectations”

“Hawaiian Airlines anticipated an approximate 41,000 seats would be added to both travel markets from the route,” the airline said in a statement. “However, due to popular demand, Hawaiian Airlines has already transported more than 65,000 passengers between Brisbane and Honolulu since the launch of the service.”

Hawaiian is the only airline to operate direct Honolulu-Brisbane flights, with the popular services, which commenced on November 28 2012, operated by 264-seat Boeing 767-300ERs.
