Sunshine Coast-based Flight Options Flight Training Centre is now a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). As an RTO, Flight Options can now award students with a nationally recognised aviation qualification on the completion of their courses.

The centre currently provides the Certificate IV in Aviation – Commercial Pilot Licence and Diplomas of Aviation in Instrument Flight Operations and Flight Instructor.

Remarking on the achievement, managing director Steve Padgett said “The new status improves the quality of the service we provide by allowing present students with a tertiary level qualification upon the completion of their course.”

Flight Options developed a purpose-built facility, which includes simulator rooms with Category B simulators, classrooms and flight briefing rooms.
