Applications open for CASA aviation safety sponsorships

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has proposed restrictions on those operating aircraft fitted with Jabiru engines. (CASA)Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) is offering sponsorship for organisations that promote aviation safety.

Applications for CASA sponsorship of events or initiatives open on January 12 and close on February 13.

“Sponsorship from CASA can include financial or in-kind support to a third party for an activity that promotes safety in Australia’s civil aviation sector for the benefit of the wider aviation community,” CASA’s sponsorship guidelines said.

CASA’s executive manager for safety education and promotion would decide whether to provide sponsorship to an organisation.
