International departures at the airport increased by five per cent for the month, while international arrivals grew by 8.3 per cent, driven primarily by major increases from Japan and China, while transit traffic was down 1.9 per cent. International aircraft movements for the month increased by 2.9 per cent.

Domestic traffic increased by a healthy 4.3 per cent for the month, although the airport noted that capacity was largely unchanged compared to the same time last year. Nevertheless, domestic aircraft movements increased by 1.4 per cent.
