Skywest announces new services to Busselton

written by WOFA | May 30, 2011

Perth-based airline Skywest has announced the launch of twice-weekly scheduled flights to Busselton in WA’s south-west, as it looks to capitalise on a growing tourism market.

Due to begin on July 8, the new services will fly between Perth and Busselton, as well as Busselton and Albany, with Skywest CEO Mark Shelton noting that Busselton offered travellers an “ideal base to explore the natural and gourmet delights of the popular Margaret River region”.

“Together with the additional services between Busselton and Albany, we are pleased to offer local residents, businesses and tourists more flexible options for travel to and within the region,” Shelton added.

Flights to Busselton will be available online or via travel agents from May 30.
