Hawker Pacific has delivered its first King Air 250 business plane to Australia.
The Pratt & Whitney PT6A-52 powered turboprop will be used to transport “key personnel between remote project sites,” Hawker Pacific said, declining to identify its corporate customer.
The King Air 250 is the latest iteration of Hawker Beechcraft’s evergreen King Air twin. The upgraded plane features a quieter cabin as well as engine induction modifications and composite winglets and propellers that lead to improved airfield performance, the company says. Hawker Beechcraft claims a 400ft reduction in takeoff distance over the B200GT as well as slight improvements in high speed cruise, climb performance and range.
