Tiger launches Adelaide-Brisbane

written by WOFA | November 9, 2009

Tiger Airways Australia has announced that it will start services from Adelaide to Brisbane from March 2010, continuing a set of new route announcements by the Singaporean owned carrier.

The carrier will operate a daily service on the route from March 28 2010, with launch fares starting from $98 one way, and comes after the carrier announced that it will commence Melbourne-Brisbane services on the same date.

“Tiger’s arrival at Brisbane Airport will be great for passengers, offering more choice, and generating greater competition and ultimately lower airfares,” said Brisbane Airport Corporation CEO Julieanne Alroe.

“The new services will also benefit our local tourism and business industry, with South Australia being the third largest domestic visitor market for South East Queensland.”
