2012 was a significant year for Boeing, having recorded 1,203 orders for commercial aircraft, delivered 601 aircraft and set records for 737 orders and deliveries.
The 1,203 orders represent the second-largest annual total in the manufacturer’s history, while deliveries were the highest recorded since 1999, supported by increased rates of production on the 737, 777 and 787.
The 737 family received orders for 1,124 aircraft, of which 914 were for the MAX series. Next-Generation 737s recorded orders for 415 aircraft – the most in a single year. Production of the Next-Gen 737 increased to 35 a month during 2012.

And 2013 started well for Boeing, with orders for 60 737 MAXes from Aviation Capital Group, comprising 50 MAX 8s and 10 MAX 9s. The MAX family has now accumulated more than 1,000 orders.
