Embraer increases order backlog

Embraer delivered 29 aircraft during the first quarter of this year and grew its order backlog to US$13.3 billion for 211 E-Jets, an increase of US$800 million over December 31, 2012. Between January and March Embraer delivered 17 commercial aircraft and 12 business jets.

Commercial aircraft included six E195s, eight E190s, two E175s and one E170. During the quarter Republic Airways announced and confirmed orders for 45 E175s.

Meanwhile, five Phenom 100 and three Phenom 300 light business jets were delivered together with four mid-size Legacy 650s.
