Low-cost long-haul carrier Scoot , has launched a new product – ScootinSilence – for “those who yearn for peace and quiet”.
The kids-free zone is situated immediately behind ScootBiz, with its 41 seats offering 35” of legroom compared to the standard economy seat of 31”. The airline said the new cabin will passengers who book the new product “confidence that under 12s will be someplace else”.
Scott CEO Campbell Wilson said: “No offence to our young guests or those travelling with them – you still have the rest of the aircraft.
“ScootinSilence is the perfect option for guests seeking an exclusive cabin, extra legroom and confidence that under 12s will be seated in another part of the aircraft.”
The airline’s network comprises 11 destinations including Singapore, Sydney, Gold Coast, Bangkok, Taipei, Tokyo, Tianjin, Qingdao, Shenyang, Nanjing, and Seoul.
Scoot was named low-cost carrier of the Year at the World Low Cost Airlines Asia Pacific Forum Awards this year.
