Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) will have a new managing director from September following the appointment of Ken Shaw to the role.
Shaw replaces Kim Gillis, who was named deputy secretary of the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) within Defence in August.
Previously, Shaw was vice president of supplier management for Boeing Military Aircraft and also held the same position within Global Services and Support, a business unit of Boeing Defense, Space and Security.
“His broad knowledge of Boeing and demonstrated leadership skills will benefit the dynamic BDA business,” president of Global Services and Support Leanne Caret said in a statement on Friday.
Boeing said Shaw will be based in Brisbane and begins his new job as vice president and managing director of Boeing Defence Australia on September 25.
