Qantas has announced that it has extended its Cityflyer product to include the Perth-Darwin route from July.

The upgrade to a Cityflyer offering on its daily Boeing 737-800 will include a broader selection of wines and cheeses on board for business class passengers, more substantial meals in economy class with complimentary beer from midday and a second refreshment service prior to landing.

“Qantas offers Cityflyer product on services from Perth to Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney and the extension of this to our daily Perth-Darwin service will offer our regular business and leisure customers a consistent product offering across Australia,” said Qantas regional general manager WA and NT Ian Gay.

Qantas says that it is “one of a number of improvements” planned for domestic passengers over the next year.
