Embraer to showcase new freighter and diverse aircraft lineup at Farnborough Airshow

Embraer is set to make a strong showing at the Farnborough International Airshow, taking place from July 22-26, as the Brazilian aerospace company kicks off celebrations for its 55th anniversary.

The company will debut its new E190F freighter aircraft, marking the first public appearance of the converted E-Jet cargo plane.

Francisco Gomes Neto, President and CEO of Embraer, said: “I’m sure this will be another great airshow for Embraer. Farnborough is the main stage of the aviation industry, and we look forward to meeting with our customers, partners and many other stakeholders as we kick off our 55th anniversary celebrations.”

Embraer’s lineup at the show will feature aircraft from both its commercial and defense portfolios, including:

– The E195-E2 commercial jet
– The new E190F freighter
– The C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft
– The A-29 Super Tucano multi-role aircraft

The C-390 Millennium and E195-E2 will also participate in the airshow’s flight display.

The E190F, which completed its maiden flight earlier this year, is a converted passenger jet designed to meet the evolving needs of e-commerce and modern trade logistics.

Gomes Neto added: “Embraer is experiencing very positive momentum, growing in a profitable way through the execution of our business strategy.”

Visitors to the Embraer chalet will have the opportunity to explore the company’s initiatives in innovation, new technologies, and sustainable aviation, including the Energia Family concept aircraft.

Additionally, Eve Air Mobility, an Embraer subsidiary, will present updates on its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle development and Urban Air Traffic Management software. This will include a full-size eVTOL cabin mockup and a virtual reality flight experience.
