Global aerospace manufacturer Embraer has posted a 33 per cent increase in aircraft deliveries for the third quarter of 2024, driven by strong growth across its commercial and executive jet divisions.
The Brazilian company delivered 57 aircraft in the quarter compared to 43 in the same period last year, while its order backlog reached a nine-year high of US$22.7 billion.
Defence and security orders led the growth, with the segment’s backlog jumping 70 per cent after securing new contracts.
The company delivered two C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft during the quarter.
Executive jet deliveries rose more than 45 per cent year-on-year to 41 aircraft.
