written by Newsdesk | October 28, 2024

Delta Air Lines will celebrate its centenary with an immersive keynote presentation at the Sphere in Las Vegas during CES 2025.

The January 7 event will mark the first CES keynote hosted at the venue, featuring its advanced display and audio technology.

Delta CEO Ed Bastian highlighted the airline’s focus on innovation.

“Technology is a powerful tool, but it’s people that make true innovation possible,” Bastian said.

The presentation will use the Sphere’s Exosphere – the world’s largest LED screen – and its high-resolution interior display.

Consumer Technology Association CEO Gary Shapiro welcomed Delta’s participation.

“We know Delta has the vision to continue disrupting how we travel by leaning into technology,” Shapiro said.

The airline will boost its Las Vegas flight schedule during the event.

Delta will operate nearly 365 additional flights between January 4-11, offering 12,000 extra seats.

New services will connect Las Vegas with Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Miami and San Jose.

International flights will operate from Amsterdam, Paris, London Heathrow and Seoul.

The expanded schedule represents a 20 per cent increase over regular January operations.

SkyMiles members will receive expedited CES badge collection at Harry Reid International Airport.
