Singapore Airlines Group carried 3.3 million passengers in October 2024, up 7% from last year, as passenger capacity rose 9.2% across its network.

The group’s overall passenger load factor declined slightly to 86% from 87.4% a year earlier, with main carrier Singapore Airlines achieving 86.1% and budget subsidiary Scoot recording 85.4%.

Scoot expanded the group’s Southeast Asian network by launching services to Malacca, Malaysia, while suspending flights to Ningbo, China.

The combined passenger network reached 127 destinations across 36 countries by month’s end, with Singapore Airlines serving 78 destinations and Scoot operating to 71.

Singapore Airlines maintained strong performance in the South West Pacific region with a 92.4% passenger load factor, while cargo loads showed notable improvement in West Asia and Africa, rising 6.6 percentage points to 72.6%.

The cargo network spanned 131 destinations in 37 countries and territories, with increased peak season shipments and freighter charters driving the improved cargo performance.
