Embraer launched its ONEChain Program to digitalize and streamline supply chain operations through a new integrated management platform.
The aerospace company said the initiative would help balance production output and improve supplier collaboration as part of its growth strategy.
“In addition to achieving enhanced operational efficiency, we have integrated all operations with our suppliers and partners in a single platform, which makes it possible to manage operations in real-time,” said Roberto Chaves, Embraer’s Executive Vice President of Global Procurement and Supply.
The platform aims to standardize processes, reduce costs and increase productivity across Embraer’s global operations.
ONEChain has been implemented across Embraer’s facilities in Brazil, the United States, China, Singapore, France, the Netherlands and Portugal.
The program recently won Process Innovation and Procurement Ecosystem awards at China’s Procurement Success Summit.
Chaves said the recognition demonstrated ONEChain’s role in “setting a new standard in digital transformation, supplier collaboration, and operational excellence.”
