CommuteAir expands Embraer partnership for E-Jet fleet support

written by Newsdesk | November 27, 2024

CommuteAir has signed a contract with Embraer for inventory and repair services to support its E-Jet aircraft fleet through the Exchange Plus Program.

The agreement gives CommuteAir access to Embraer’s global supply chain for parts management.

“CommuteAir is excited to build on its existing partnership with Embraer for our ERJ145 aircraft to now include parts inventory and repair support for our E-Jet aircraft,” said Lon Ziegler, CommuteAir’s Vice President of Technical Operations.

The program will support CommuteAir’s charter operations using 76-seat E170 aircraft.

“Embraer has a long-term relationship with the company and our goal is to offer the best-in-class support that makes the difference on our customer’s operations,” said Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support.

The Exchange Plus Program aims to help customers optimize operations while reducing downtime and costs through integrated inventory management solutions.

The companies already collaborate on parts support for CommuteAir’s ERJ145 fleet through existing Pool and Inventory Planning programs.
