Qatar Airways will resume flights to Damascus from January 7 2025, offering three weekly services to the Syrian capital.
The route will connect Damascus with more than 170 destinations through Qatar Airways’ global network via Doha’s Hamad International Airport.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said the resumption highlighted the airline’s commitment to regional travel.
“We are pleased to resume flights to Damascus, a destination of great historical and cultural importance. This announcement underscores our dedication to fostering connectivity and facilitating travel for our passengers,” Al-Meer said.
The airline is working with authorities to ensure all safety, security and operational requirements are met before services begin.
Passengers will be able to access Qatar Airways’ global network through Hamad International Airport, which ranks among the world’s leading airports.
Flight schedules and booking information are available through Qatar Airways’ website, local offices and mobile application.
