Newcastle Airport has reported strong growth in passenger numbers during both June and July, boosted by school holiday traffic and an increase in Jetstar services. During June, passenger numbers at the airport reached 88,934, up 5.74 per cent on the same month last year, while traffic in July was up 5.73 per cent at 101,802.
