Air Algerie orders four ATR 72s

ATR announced on December 7 that Air Algerie has ordered four ATR 72-500s, valued at US$82m (A$89.8m) at list prices. Delivery of the four aircraft will take place during 2010, and they will join eight other ATR 72s in service with the airline.

RFDS Qld takes two new Caravans

Aeromil Pacific has completed delivery of two new Cessna Grand Caravan 208B aircraft to the Queensland Section of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). The two Caravans (VH-NQC and VH-NQD) will operate from the RFDS Cairns Airport base and service North Queensland towns and Cape York communities, providing essential transport for primary health care staff
