BAC sponsors RFDS in Queensland

written by WOFA | November 20, 2009

Brisbane Airport Corporation has announced a new sponsorship arrangement with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Queensland where the airport will become its principal sponsor.

“The RFDS is the lifeline for many Queenslanders living out in the regions, connecting them to Brisbane and vital health services and facilities across our state,” said BAC CEO Julieanne Alroe.

“We value the important work of the RFDS, assisting people around the state 24 hours a day, seven days a week – a service which is undoubtedly great for Queensland.”

RFDS Queensland is based at Brisbane Airport, and completed over 4000 landings there last year.
