Problems with suppliers have forced Cessna to temporarily halt production of the Citation Mustang until early July.

According to media reports, the supplier issues have been related to flooding in Rhode Island which has prevented some suppliers from being able to produce components in time. As a result of the shutdown, Cessna is issuing rolling furloughs to about 200 workers at the Wichita, Kansas, facility where it produces Mustangs, but production is expected to restart in July.

So far, Cessna has not said how it expects the stoppage to impact on second quarter deliveries of the popular selling very light jet, but deliveries of aircraft already manufactured are continuing.
