A passenger with no flying experience safely landed a Cessna Caravan in Florida on Tuesday with the help of air traffic controllers, after the pilot of the aircraft fell ill. The utility aircraft, with two people on board, had taken off from Marsh Harbour International Airport in the Bahamas, on its way to Fort Pierce

The new codeshare partnership, expected to be in full swing later this year, will also give customers access to both Virgin Australia’s domestic and short-haul network, as well as Qatar’s global destinations.

Walsh said that even the higher oil prices and labor shortages have not deterred travelers, despite the roughly ten per cent rise in air fares.

It follows the federal government announcing it would gift Ukraine 20 Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles – including 14 with Protected Weapon Systems and two ambulance variants – alongside six M777 howitzers with ammunition.

The company is seeking to slowly increase its production rates of A320 jets to eventually reach 75 every month in 2025.  

The ultra-low-cost carrier dismissed the US$3.6 billion offer as its board of directors determined it “does not constitute a superior proposal”, and its pending transaction with Frontier will deliver better value for shareholders and customers.
